Participants will have the opportunity network and find possible collaborative partners, gain ideas for programs, learn about other programs and resources, learn more about how to effectively assess programs, gain access to easy to use and easy to implement assessment instruments, and learn more about the TxGCP.
Regional Fall Forums build upon the five themes which surfaced at the TxGCP Kick-off Conference regarding the needs across the state and where the TxGCP can provide leadership in pre-college STEM initiatives targeting girls:
- Build Community and Collaborations across Texas
- Provide a Forum to share Resources/Ideas/Questions.
- Catalogue and Share Information on STEM Programs and Informal Learning Curriculum across Texas
- Build Community, Public and Political Awareness across Texas
- Create Standards or Common Assessment of Programs
