"Engineer Your
Life", a new campaign designed
to encourage girls to pursue
engineering, was launched in
February.
According to
research done by the
Engineer Your Life
Coalition, girls believe
engineers must be
exceptional at both math and
science. Girls view
engineering as very
difficult or not a possible
career option for them.
Engineer Your
Life has developed three
messages to change the
perception of engineering -
creativity has
its rewards, explore the
possibilities
and make a world
of difference.
To explore
the endless possibilities in
engineering, find posters,
brochures and other
resources for teachers,
parents, counselors and
other educators, visit the
"Engineer Your Life" web
